I absolutely agree with Typho's dad. Using a mobile phone at meal time brings a lot of harmful things and causes a bad effect on the users. Firstly, children's eating habits are dictated by several factors including the taste and looks of the food. When children are around devices, they are engrossed in them and don't get the urge to eat. Secondly, you will miss the opportunity to talk to your family making the distance between kids and parents. Last but not least, according to some research, using while eating is not good for our health. At home, my parents only allow me to use the computer for studying and if I want to play games the limit time is 60 minutes. So, in my opinion, we should use mobile phones and computers for the right purpose, if not it will lead to the addition.
