I'll never forget Tet holiday last year when I celebrate the new year in the countryside with my grandparents. New Year's Eve in the countryside is a little different than in the city.
On New Year's Eve, there are many families setting off fireworks. There are no concentrated fireworks viewing spots like in the city, so families often buy fireworks themselves. First a signal firecracker, then a series of artillery rounds. I ran to the yard, looked around, and saw fireworks. Although the fireworks are not as beautiful as in the city, I find the atmosphere here really bustling. My family watched the fireworks together and said "Happy New Year", then we went into the house. Everyone congratulates each other and wishes each other the best in the new year. My grandfather also read to the whole family a poem he composed himself.
Finally, we raised our glasses of wine, cheered, and ate sweets together. It was the great night. I really like the "Tet" atmosphere in the countryside.
