Hi John, 

We have a day off from school on Monday because it's Viet Nam National Day. Do you want to eat with me and my family that day? We have a big meal.

On that day, I get up early and go to the market with my mom to buy ingredients. Then my grandmother will make a special meal. The whole family comes to our house. Sometimes, there are more than 15 people! People usually bring a fruit or dessert, like ice-cream. Can you bring some food from your country?

We eat at about 12:30 p.m.. Do you know what time the buses run on holidays? Let's meet at 12:00 at my house. You can meet everyone before we eat.
