Study skills - Listening (Kỹ năng học - Nghe)
Before listening: (Trước khi nghe:)
- read the questions carefully (đọc câu hỏi cẩn thận)
- decide what information you are listening for (quyết định thông tin mà bạn nghe được)
- think of some words that you might hear (nghĩ về các bạn từ mà có thể bạn đã nghe thấy)
- listen for important information only (chỉ nghe những thông tin quan trọng)
1. Listen to the conversation between a stranger and Duy's dad. Fill in the blanks with the words you hear. (Nghe đoạn hội thoại giữa người lạ mặt và bố của Duy. Điền vào chỗ trống những từ mà bạn nghe được.)
- A: Excuse me. Where is the supermarket?
- B: Go to(1)_the end_ of this street. It's on your (2)_right_ .
- A: And where is the (3)_lower secondary school_ ?
- B: It's in (4)_Le Duan Street_ . Take the (5)_second right_ , and it's on your left.

- Don't like: busy and crowded, traffic jam, many buildings,...
5. Write a paragraph about your neighbourhood saying what you like or dislike about living there. Use the information in 4, and Khang's blog as a model. (Viết một đoạn văn về khu bạn sống nói về những điều bạn thích hoặc không thích. Sử dụng các thông tin ở phần 4 và blog của Khang như là một bài mẫu)

I was born and live in Ha Noi. Ha Noi is a historic city which is the capital of Vietnam. It has many beautiful streets with a lot of trees. I'd like to tell you some good things and some bad things about my neighbourhood.
Firstly, I love Ha Noi's beautiful scenery. I fancy walking on the lovely street which covered with dead leaves in the autumn. Reading books by the Sword Lake is one of my favourite activities. Secondly, food in Ha Noi is really good. It is famous for "Pho" and "bun cha". But I'm fascinated by "banh cuon" after all. Finally, Ha Noi has almost everything I need. You can see convenient stores, large malls,... on the street easily. Sometimes, I feel Ha Noi is a paradise. It has everything.
Beside many good things, there're always bad things at all. I detest the traffic jam in Ha Noi. It takes me about 2 hours to get home in the rush hour. It's so annoying. Not only that, but the streets are also noisy because of the sound of vehicles. Sometimes, it's driving me crazy.
